01The beach
A short stretch of sand and rock below steep slopes, with resort buildings such as the Hotel Perle d'Orient above it and newer high-rise hotels nearby. The water is calm and fine for swimming in season. Late afternoons in summer can be noisy with music and groups.
02When to go
Early morning is peaceful, with fishermen passing offshore. In the evening, hotel bars above the beach are a good place for a drink with a view.
