Short answer

Worth a look if you are staying nearby or want a quieter evening walk. For your main beach day, choose Cat Co 2 or a boat trip.

01What to expect

Tung Thu is less a hidden cove than a beach on the edge of a growing district, with new roads and buildings behind it. Some of its sand has been shaped by development. The upside is space and calm, and the view west across the water is good at sunset.

02Getting there

Take an electric cart or taxi from the harbour for a small fare, or walk west along the waterfront and through the newer streets.
